Back in July, I challenged myself to get scrapping again! I was finally in the mood so I gathered all the supplies I thought I'd need (which was quite a few!) and got busy making layout after layout every night for one week. I wanted to see how many I could complete by the end of the week. Well, I got to 20! Some are 1 pagers and some are 2 pagers. Some are pretty basic, but I was going for quantity, not necessarily quality. I love some of them, and some are just ok. I tried to remind myself that even "ok" layouts are DONE layouts!
It's been hard to stay scrapping with 2 kids and especially since sweet baby #2's closet is my scrapbook nook! All my supplies are held hostage each night as she sleeps (unless I think ahead & get out what I need ahead of time. Which rarely happens!) I'm one of those who has to (pretty much) scrap in chronological order, so I worked on layouts with pictures from late 2007 to 2008, which is where I currently am. Yes, that far back! It was fun to see my son as a toddler in the photos, all the while longing to create some girly pages of my daughter...all in due time! ;)
Disclaimer: These photos are not the greatest! Some are glarey and I didn't bother cropping them--but I still wanted to share my accomplishment. (Remember, you can click on the photo to see it enlarged.) Maybe I should make this a monthly challenge to myself??
Here's the first 10 layouts:
My Sassy Sister
Unwrapping
Too Sleepy To SmileLearning to Color
Finger Foods

Family Fun

Stay tuned for the other 10 layouts....

Wow these are fabulous! Great job getting 20 done in a week! I know how you feel. I have 2 kids too and it's definitely way harder getting it done.
I especially love your Learning to Color page! Goes great with that background paper.
I'd love if you linked up on my Scrappy Saturdays! http://www.scrappy-gifts.com/2011/09/63rd-scrappy-saturdays.html
I love these layouts! I've been trying to "catch up" with my scrapbooking too. It's so hard! I also love that you put multiple pictures on each page. I feel that those 1 picture pages are nice, but unrealistic!
Thanks for linking up to Scrappy Saturdays! Featuring some of these today!
Wow - good job on all of them, I think. I had to laugh at your "hostage closet". Keep up the good work.
